PCA Skin Aftercare Advice

PCA Skin Post Procedure After Care Information
- For two days after your treatment keep the treated skin cool, as internal and thermal heat can cause hyperpigmentation and/or water blisters
- Stay cool, avoid sweating
- Do not shave, wax or use hair removal creams (or devices) on the treated skin on the day of treatment or for at least 2-5 days afterwards
- Do not apply water / ice to cool the skin
- Do not apply make up for at least 24 hours if possible
- Avoid hot showers, hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms and swimming
- Do not use loofahs or other mechanical exfoliation on the treated skin
- Do not direct hairdryer heat onto the treated area
- Keep the skin moisturised
- Avoid restarting your retinol product until any flaking has ceased
- Avoid direct sun exposure and excessive heat
- Always use a minimum SPF 30 daily
- Do not pick or peel your skin even if it is rough or flaking
Further Advice
- Use clean pillowcases
- Tap products into the skin rather than rubbing
- Stay hydrated
- Moisturise and protect with SPF 30 minimum
- Use clean make up brushes
- Remember you don’t have to peel with a peel
