What is a Skin Peel?
Professionally applied peel solutions exfoliate dead skin cells and help healthy skin cells rise to the surface. These treatments allow deeper layers of fresh and untouched skin to be revealed. The result of treatments can even skin tone, clear acne, improve the appearance of ageing skin and make dull complexions glow. Peels are safe for all skin types, and PCA Certified Professionals are trained to identify what treatment combination is safe for each person’s skin in order for patients to reap the greatest benefits. Professional peels are increasingly effective with pre- and post-treatment care, balancing your skin before the peel and nurturing it after the treatment.
What is a Medi-Facial?
A Medi-Facial is a unique product for each client based on their specific skin needs and goals. The experience is still relaxing, but you’ll notice real changes in your skin that most traditional spa facials just don’t deliver. That why we use the term “Medi-Facial” – it’s simply an enhanced facial geared towards achieving specific results. Medi-Facials repair, restore, and rejuvenate the skin. We have an extensive PCA SKIN® range containing active enzymes, acids, nutrients, amino acids, antioxidants and much more. Your skin will have visible improvements in tone, texture, complexion, and most importantly improved skin health and function.
When performing PCA SKIN® peels, clinicians use a layering technique to determine the depth of penetration to either the stratum corneum or to the deeper, underlying tissue. This technique is possible due to the fact that PCA SKIN® liquid peel formulations are self-neutralising. After peel application, nutritive topicals and calming broad spectrum SPF products are applied, and the patient leaves with a glowing, healthy complexion. This unique PCA SKIN® technique makes the treatment process more relaxing and easier to perform.
Consumers are often mistaken that if a little of something is good, more is better. However, by treating the skin gently and infusing it with beneficial nourishing and strengthening ingredients during professional treatments, you will consistently see faster, more dramatic treatment outcomes.
